So what is Body Burn?
Body Burn is a high intensity bootcamp style class with a twist; although burning through as many calories and working the entire body will be the goal, a Pilates foundation will keep a strong emphasis on posture and form to avoid injury and build up the body, rather than tear it down. An ever changing set of movements to continually challenge, and therefore improve, your strength, control and balance all leads to a killer class every time!

The boot camp program we’ve created is something Kaity wanted to do as soon as she started with us. Pilates and TRX are both fantastic exercise programs because they are so functional and translatable to everyday life. For some clients, there are a few key elements missing from their view on wellness that can inhibit the transformation potential!

So how does the boot camp program work?
The program is designed to inject all three key components into the routines of those who participate. These skills will be taught and implemented over a 6-week period to set them up for continued success and a lasting change!
It starts with an orientation meeting A basic nutritional guideline will be explained; options for nutritional plans will be provided, as well as other details and expectations of the program.
Participants will have from Wednesday the 1st to that first Sunday session on the 5th to organize to have their baseline statistics collected with Kaity such as Body Mass Index, inches for waist, bust, hips, before pictures and other statistics.
A weekly Sunday afternoon session will be broken into two parts. The first part will be the educational portion, which will provide the participants the tools and knowledge to be successful with all facets of health and wellbeing, as well as assist with any issues they may be having. The second part will be a fun, functional, and challenging boot camp circuit blast!
Participants are required to attend two additional fitness classes a week, as well as at least two hours of cardio outside of the studio. This boost in strength training and exercise will jolt the body into change! While there are minimums set, the expectation is to shoot above and beyond those numbers. If a client is expecting to be out of town during the six weeks at any point, that is not a make or break situation. These circumstances will be evaluated in a case-by-case manner and alternative planning can be made.
Participants and Kaity will be tracking various aspects of progress as a team, in order to help motivate the participants and keep them accountable in many facets. The weekly Sunday sessions will be a chance to check in with people face to face. There will also be a Facebook bootcamp support group that will allow participants to interact throughout the week. Physical statistics and data will be collected, as well as email support and tasks. All of these methods and client dedication will ensure continued motivation and results!!
