We restrict our classes to a maximum of 5 people and 1 instructor, this allows each student to get hands on attention and ensures correct form and results.

Not Mat Pilates!

Not to be confused with the standard $10 mat class at your local gym, these classes are held with highly knowledgeable certified instructors on the top of the line equipment costing up to $8000 for 1 piece.

Pilates was designed and developed by Joseph on EQUIPMENT he designed, mat pilates was an afterthought as a cheaper alternative but is nowhere near as effective or specific. To compare the two is not realistic, the apparatus give the instructor endless variations and allows them to tailor any workout to the clients needs, limitations and goals!

boot camp

This class incorporates all of the apparatus equipment. It is a high energy class with lots of movement and really focusing on fatiguing certain muscle groups. This is not a full body workout but will be specific to working a certain area of the body and working it REALLY hard! It is recommended that each clients has been doing pilates already with us. If you have a preexisting injury to a certain part of your body, please do not choose the class that works that part of your body. If your looking to really tone a certain area, then this is the class you are looking for! It's great for brides who are looking at a strapless, backless dress. Its good for anyone who is going on vacation and wants to put that cute bathing suit on that you always wanted to look fabulous in. Its great for that reunion your trying to look amazing for! And last but not least, it's the perfect class if you just want to look and feel amazing!

Cardiolates 

Incorporating cardiovascular elements and interval circuit training this class challenges the client in a whole new dimension while still utilizing many of the pilates apparatus. The combination makes focusing on correct form, control and balance very effective and fun for more experienced clients and those who are looking for some weight loss. The jump board will be used often in this class, as it helps to get the heart rate up. You do not need tennis shoes for this class just your normal pilates attire and make sure to hydrate before and after this class. This is not a class for beginners but for more experienced pilates students. Get ready to sweat those extra unwanted pounds off!

Group Apparatus 

This class is a combination class combining all of the pilates apparatus pieces. While we still work on the reformers we also add the wunda chair, Cadillac, half trap table, ladder barrel, spine correctors, big pilates balls, weighted pilates balls, foam rollers, pilates rings, and bosu ball. This is a circuit type class moving from station to station. This is the first place this class has ever been offered in Indiana! You should have experience in pilates before signing up for this class, as this class is not be for beginners to pilates. Taking pilates to the next level with the movement from one piece of apparatus to the other. It keeps your mind focused on what to do and where to move next, and your body working hard on the exercises as well as moving to your next apparatus station. If you like a challenge and like to keep thinking what's next you will love the group apparatus class! With a limit of 6 people make sure to sign up because this class is very popular!

Group Reformer

Utilizing the most popular and well known apparatus, the reformer, this classic class is ideal for those wanting to take private instruction to maximize their results without the full cost associated. The classes are maximum 4 people so it's almost like having a one on one session without the cost! This class is the best class for beginners and also advanced clients who are looking to become more advanced. All around it works for everyone. This class is an hour long and will be a full body workout. Working on posture, alignment, strength, balance and control.

Monon Walking

This class is only offered through the warmer months of the year. It is an hour and a half long, spending half of the class on the Monon trail while the other half is spent doing pilates on the springboard at the east location. The Monon trail will include speed walking, jogging, running, sprints, or sometimes even plyometric exercises. It will depend on the level of the students in this class to what goes on out on the Monon. This is a great option if you are looking to add some cardio and intensify your pilates workout! What a great way to burn calories and get some fresh air outdoors with your friends and your instructor. This class is not for people just starting a workout program for the first time! It is intense as it is an hour and a half class. The summer days do get hot, so make sure you drink plenty of water before and after your class. Also make sure to wear the appropriate attire and shoes to be able to run on the trail. Hydration is important for all of our classes, but especially this one! And of course don't forget your sun block!

Springboard 

Springboard classes are a great option for people who love mat classes and also who love using the pilates apparatus. This class incorporates floor moves while using the resistance of springs to either assist you if you're a beginner and not very strong, or to challenge you if you have been doing pilates for awhile or are very strong. It is for those with an established exercise routine and those still trying to develop one. The springs provide a "closed chain connection" which allows you to better isolate muscle groups and to feel the deeper core connection than the classic mat exercises, but are based on the same principles. A lot of the exercises done on the reformer can be modified and changed around a little bit to work on the springboard. It is a great way to change up your pilates classes by trying springboard with us. With a limit of 4 or 5 people per class (depending on location) the springboard classes are small enough for individual attention and are far superior to a regular mat class.
