In Yoga, people struggle with different poses for different reasons, through private instruction you can focus on furthering your own practise no matter where you are or what you are challenged by.
Private sessions range from $70- $45 depending on the package.
Ashtanga Levels I&II
The Primary Series is a vinyasa flow of specific asanas (movements) that has been practiced the same way for hundreds of years! This type of yoga is very popular amongst yoga enthusiasts who find themselves drawn to the complete lifestyle and philosophies of yoga as it encompasses much more than asanas. This class introduces Surya Namaskara A & B ( sun salutations), the standing postures of the primary series, and a variety of the seated asanas. The class will also finish with the closing sequence of the primary series.
Class is 75 minutes long and apart of our fitness program pricing.
Ashtanga Primary Series
The class encompasses the full series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa System; a precisely designed sequence of postures linked together with the breath. Using Ujjayi pranayama (deep breathing), dristhi (gaze), the bandhas (locks). This powerful & rigorous practice purifies & realigns the body & energizes the spirit.
Class is 90 minutes long and apart of our fitness program pricing.
Ashtanga Yoga Open Room
A free Ashtanga Yoga studio practice time for experienced students who already have a self practice of the primary series. This is not a lead/guided class but rather a chance for like minded yogis to grow and learn from each other. Come be apart of Indy”s Ashtanga Yoga Community!!
